All video conferencing apps, any app really that accesses your camera and microphone, need your explicit permissions first.
Below you will find instructions on ensuring your browser and operating system or choice have the correct permissions set.
Updating Browser Permission
Visit Chrome Settings for Salesroom and change the Camera and Microphone to "Allow".
Suppose your camera and microphone are showing as "Allow", and after refreshing a Salesroom Meeting page, you still find your permissions are not working. In that case, your operating system is blocking access to your devices, not your browser.
Visit Firefox Preferences and change the Camera and Microphone for Salesroom to "Allow".
Visit Safari Preference via the Safari Menu on the top left, click on the "Websites" tab and change the Camera and Microphone for Salesroom to "Allow".
Safari on Mobile iOS
Chrome on Mobile iOS
Go to Settings > Privacy
Microphone > Chrome (turn it on or off and on again)
Camera > Chrome (turn it on or off and on again)
Edge on Windows
Visit Edge Preferences and change the Camera and Microphone for Salesroom to "Allow".
Visit System Preference, click on the "Security & Privacy", and enable the Camera and Microphone for your browser. If this is already enabled and your browser is also showing "Allow", you might need to untick and tick the checkbox next to your browser again to change the permissions.
Visit Privacy and security and ensure your browser is permitted to access the camera and microphone. If this is already enabled and your browser is also showing "Allow", then you might need to toggle the switch to force the permissions change.
